Looks like an excellent design and attempt at the record. I've been wondering how long it would be before someone got the funds together to make a serious attempt at speed records by using hard foils. I have no doubt that hard foils are the way to go, otherwise airplane wings would still look like the Wright Flyer. I anticipate you will try a speed record attempt on ice. The boat will prove much faster than on pavement because there is no loss of energy into the tires through creating a slip angle. Runner edge profile is extremely critical.
