Good Morning, Richard As you know, my interests lie more specifically in the area of commercial development of WIG (Wing-in-Ground-Effect Boats). 'Landyachting' is a bit of a mystery to me. In my neck of the woods (Coastal BC / Canada) the term 'landyacht' generally refers to North American motor cars of the 60's era... you know the ones - big enough to fit a 'master stateroom' in the trunk. Anyway, I am confused and have 2 questions: 1. - What is the difference between the 'World Championships' (to be held in Nevada USA in March of 2002); and the 'Record Challenge' (which you hope to run at Waddington in the next month)? in my ignorance it seems to me that the 'World Championship' and the 'Record Challenge' would be one and the same. What am I missing here? 2. - What about the mysterious challenge of 'dirtboat' (10,14,2001) ... "Why not pack it up and come to Nevada for a side by side?" **Now that would be interesting - a side by side between the and the Iron Duck. (everyone brings their own duct tape). Just kidding. Foxx
