Many thanks to all who followed our progress yesterday over the national news. Unfortunately, the entire team was fully occupied all day, which did not enable us to convey the story over the web. Our appologies for this, but we will remedy the system for the next challenge event. During the day we put in another 2.5 hours of valuable testing, which saw a top speed of 96 mph, however only 86 could be officially ratified. It was obviously dissappointing not to set a new World record, especially as we have already done it in testing. However, that is the nature of these projects and we must perform in front of the appropriate officials and timekeepers. There have been a number of very valuable lessons learnt about record challenge days, which will be addressed. But fear not, we will be back out there as soon as the conditions prevail, challenging the official World record of 116 mph. Stay in touch and we look forward to bringing you better news in the very near future. Richard Jenkins.
