Well - I followed ye-olde Thrust SSC which ended up running in the Jordanian Desert - twice. If I recall Sir Noble's book 'thrust' correctly - first time they came home because they broke the rear suspension - 2nd time they came home because of... high winds. They had an 8 mile stretch there iirc - and was suitable for 400 mph+ runs with Thrust SSC. Just an idea. Saw at Goodwood - and it looks STUNNING. Doug
