The latest developments in a field, of course, are always the most confidential - keep an eye-out over the next couple of years. The information presented is meant as an introduction to those designers not currently thinking of the advantages of blending ground-effect technology to sail craft hydrodynamics. As hydrofoils have design limitations with regard to speed - the next logical step (to substantially increase the worlds water speed sail record) is to lift the craft completely free of the drag of the water surface.
