My change of thinking is not based on any of your input but fully on Jon's, so I doubt if you had Jon's idea's in mind when you posted your message
Not groundeffect nor any method a bird uses (not even dynamic soaring) is the key. The great difference in height in one machine is the key.
And now I see no theoretical impossibility anymore and that makes the big difference. I have no time to experiment but I think it is worth while to have a go. Who dares ? JD
