I use 10 guage stainless steel for my icesurfer.I start with a piece 10x5 and then I sharpen one edge with an angle grinder. 2 cost me $20. These work good but they have to be sharpened with a file after alot of runs on cold hard ice. The team have blades made out of hardened stainless steel.It is worth way more and harder to find.
