Dear Don IOU was put on all Bill Perrigos sails even the Deuce had IOU on her sail but the name of the boat was still the Deuce.All of Bills skeeters were called thunder jet.There are lots of old skeeters sailing around with IOU on there sails used sails that have made it in to the hands of older skeeters.Don i also have a rear bucket A skeeter two B skeeters one c class sternsteerer and the unlimited DEUCE.But there is nothing that compares to the power of an A boat like Deuce Frits Bull Takue.Don times were diffrent back then 143 MPH that was as fast as man had ever traveld.The stakes were high, Now days who cares! we just try to go around a race course with out breaking down and try to win the race.Don your right the 70MPH breeze is all folklore they did this in 30mph winds.I would never go out in!Don the bottom line is anyone who could break the record just dont care!
