Thought I was going crazy til I read your message Ken.
Without racking my brain further on whether any of my thoughts are educated or not...here goes.
(1)Cross-beam up front with steerable wheels and a pivotal center beam. Or a stationary center-beam running aft from the cross-beam with a pivotal driver.
Kind of like how they hang off racing sloops. Wouldn't this balance the craft,& maybe make it more aerodynamic? Seems to me at first thought that alot of drag is placed on the wheel(s)as it is now.
