As far as the Windjet team are aware, there are two other teams with the objective of pushing the outright record.


Iron Duck

The Iron Duck team of Bob Schumacher and Bob Dill currently hold the World Record and, since taking the record in 1999, have been trying to increase on their speed of 116.7 mph (187.8 km/h).


Miss Wisconsin

Daniel Kampo's "Miss Wisconsin" is also designed to run on frozen lakes and hence is also making a challenge for the ice record. As the name implies, Miss Wisconsin is based in Wisconsin, USA.
