With the land sailing season in Australia over until next August, thoughts turn towards the winter and the options for some ice sailing.

The plan is to put the old Windjet Land yacht, currently based in Reno Nevada, onto the ice at Canyon ferry Dam (Montana USA) in February 2008. Canyon Ferry is arguably one of the best venues in the world, due to a combination of low snowfall, good ice and strong winds.

However, after just building a new land yacht and an expensive Australia campaign, funds are at an all time low. Therefore, we will have to find additional sponsors (cash) to make it possible, but as per normal, where there is a will, there is a way!
