The rain storms that have drenched the east coast (San Francisco bay
area) for the past few days are now almost over and the forecast is
looking up, with tempretures expected to rise steadily during the week.
<note: hot weather is required to dry the lake beds further, in
preparation for record speeds>
We plan to take the windjet land vehicle out to the desert on Wednesday
11th May and set up over the next few days. If the conditions allow, we
will be on record ready status by Monday 16th May, waiting for that one
illusive windy day!!
