All three vehicles are made from composite materials, usually found in
the aerospace industry and Formula-1. The Windjet vehicles are almost
entirely carbon fibre, with 'Kevlar' reinforcement to protect the pilot,
similar the the 'crash pods' seen in racing cars. Kevlar has incredible
resistance to impact and is used in making bullet proof vests.
All the composite materials have been supplied by SP Systems, world leaders
in composite technology and a Windjet Technical Partner.
