All three craft rely on solid sail technology, that is a sail that has
more in common with an aircraft wing that the traditional flexible sails
as used by most sailing yachts and windsurfers. As airflow over an aircraft's
horizontal wing pushes the aircraft up, the flow of air over Windjet's
vertical sail pushes the vehicles forward. This force, combined with exceptional
efficiency, enables the land craft to travel at five to six times the
real wind speed.
