Tuesday 2nd July, 2002 Windjet Enjoys Great Success at the Waddington International Airshow The Windjet land craft and Team enjoyed great success at the RAF Waddington Airshow over the weekend of the 29th - 30th June. The impressive display drew large crowds who were eager to see both the craft in its new livery, and the Team. The display was in 3 Hangar, the exhibition area during the show, and was quite a spectacle. The craft which looks stunning in its new livery was surrounded by a specially built carbon and Kevlar stand, which the Team constructed in the weeks prior to the show. At the back of the craft was the “Windjet Trailer”, which was dedicated to Supporters Club sign-up, complete with the facilities to take members photographs and video screens showing footage of the craft running. The team would like to thank everyone who came to see us at the show, especially those who showed their support and joined the Supporters Club over the weekend. The Waddington Airshow is just the beginning for the team, this month sees the “Windjet Roadshow” visiting Goodwood Festival of Speed on 12th July - 14th July, Farnborough International Airshow on 27th July - 28th July and the New Forest Show on 30th July - 1st August. So, if you were unable to see us at Waddington, there are plenty of chances to catch the vehicle and Team during the next month!
