Windjet relies
heavily on a core team who run the project full-time from their base in
Lymington. Windjet also utilises the skills and expertise of a number
of advisors to the project.

Richard
Jenkins
(27) - Project Director & Pilot
Richard
is responsible for the creation of Windjet, which is now the development
of over five years of personal dedication. He has been involved
with cutting-edge yachting for many years including high profile
projects such as construction and crew management on the 'Matthew',
the reconstruction of John Cabot's 15th Century galleon, to the
technical design and construction on one of the world's fastest
and most radical sailing yachts; 'Stealth' owned by Ferrari boss
Gianni Agnelli.
Richard
graduated from Imperial College London in 2000 having read Mechanical
Engineering, and will pilot all the Windjet craft.

James
Sopper
(26) - Technical Manager
James
is primarily responsible for the development and upkeep of the Windjet
website as well as managing technical support during record challenges.
Having graduated from Imperial College London in 2000 with a Masters
Degree in Aeronautical Engineering, he also contributes valuable
design and technical knowledge to the build of the craft.
James
has worked on other high profile projects including the design of
the Aston Martin Vanquish.

Sara
Moore
(26) - Finance, Press & PR Manager
Sara's
main role is in Press and PR, co-ordinating Press Releases, Press
Days and media contact throughout the project. She is also the Windjet
Supporters Club Secretary, managing the ever growing number of members
around the world. Her experience in finance has also proved beneficial
to the day to day running and administration of the project.
An
accomplished musician and sculptor, Sara also graduated from Imperial
College London in 2000, with a degree in Geology.

Advisors
Simon Notley - Seed Money Sponsor & Business
Advisor
Simon has
provided the majority of the working capital for Windjet and is the project's
business advisor. Simon is the owner and director of The Iron Bed Company
and brings the valuable experience of business start-up and development
to the team.
Richard
Down - Project Management
Richard has
been involved with the project from its conception, and assists in the
detailed planning and project management. His experience stems from large-scale
event management of projects such as the G7 and G8 Summit Conferences,
as well as personally competing in five Le Mans 24 hour races.
BHP
Sport Ltd - Footage Capture & Production
BHP has been
recruited as the Windjet production company. Specialising in filming 'mini-cam'
work and in remote or hostile locations, they are responsible for Formula
One, World Rally Championship and Volvo Ocean Race footage. They have
been following the progress of the project for over two years, and handle
the VNR's (video news releases) at the record locations.
Lord
Montagu of Beaulieu - Project Patron
Lord Montagu
owns and runs the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu, Hampshire, and is
a patron of the Windjet project. He has a long history of association
with speed record projects, and displays a large number of past world
record holding vehicles at his museum.
