Holkham Beach in North Norfolk, UK - 2004/06/15 10:48
I am sure this notion has been considered and discarded, but foolishly I am going to ask this question anyway. What about certain sandy beaches around the UK. I appreciate that the surface quality is questionable (far too rough and not enough traction?) and winds as hard to predict as anywhere. But I have walked across Holkham Beach in North Norfolk with wind well above 25kts on a few occasions recently, this beach in particular is very wide allowing a good chance of optimal direction.
